I've been alive on god's green earth for 32 years now and you're going to tell me that I NEVER knew this?

Michigan is FULL of surprises one of which came to me yesterday thanks to a friend on Instagram. Did you know that Michigan is home to the World's largest Christmas Store? Bronner's Christmas Wonderland is open nearly all year long and sits in Frankenmuth, a town that boasts its own world fame thanks to their chicken dinners. That's real. You can read about it here.

Now, I had my doubts. After all, how many things or places have we come across in our lives that brag about being "the largest" or "best" place in the world only to leave us disappointed. But, one look at their website and I can tell...this the real deal.

I know, I know. It's only October. But, if I had to pick a holiday I most enjoyed it would be Christmas. Not because of gifts, sparkly lights or tree decorating but because of nostalgia and new memories created by friends and family. Okay...I DO love the sparkly lights of which Bronner's has plenty. Plus, outdoor decor, ornaments, stockings, advent calendars.....I'm overwhelmed just looking at the pictures. A feeling I will have to overcome because I can't NOT visit, right?

I'm loving getting to know my new state. Do you know of something else that can be boasted as world famous in Michigan? Let me know!
