Michigan High School Football Player Gains TikTok Fame Overnight
Ah, TikTok. The biggest time sucker in my life and yet...I can't seem to stop. I would love to blame my recent addiction to the popular app on Dana but, the truth is I was hooked long before I came to Michigan. Tiktok has been blasted for being a bad influence, just like every other social media app, but for one Michigan High School Football Star it's the reason he became famous overnight!
Caden Woodall, a high school student and football player at Stevenson High School near Detroit, was just your average 18 year old. At least until a couple of weeks ago. That's when a video of Caden and the entire football team lip syncing to Justin Bieber's 'Eenie Meenie' was uploaded to Tiktok. See the full video below
The video of Caden and his team breaking into a dance party now has over 32 million views and over 100,000 comments. And some of those comments...are a little thirsty.
Caden, now referred to by his jersey number, #7, has racked up quite the fan base. Here are what some other Tiktok users had to say.
Maddie: The first dude could break my heart and I'd say sorry
Lauren: Maybe men aren't too bad
Michaela: not to be dramatic or anything but I would die for #7
Aliza: Coming back for the 100th time today
And my personal favorite from the original poster...
Rawr: I was in the middle of 30 sweaty guys for this, your camera girl needs some appreciation.
However, the one thing I noticed, as did the school, is the fact that no one is wearing masks or socially distancing in the locker room. Needless to say, Stevenson High School does not appreciate the fame.
Regardless, it's nice to see some positivity from an app that's been so widely hated. Anything to make us smile in 2020, right? Thanks to What's Trending for all the information surrounding this now famous TikTok
