Mattawan Resident Comes Home to Bullet Hole

Mattawan is thought of as one of those places you can leave your doors unlocked when you're not home.

So I was surprised when a friend of mine from high school came home to find a hole in her window.

The resident, who will remain nameless for her privacy, said, "We thought a stone, rock or anything but a bullet," Until she found a hole in the wall nearby that must have been in that bullet's path.

Whether this was intentional or a stray bullet..it's still terrifying.

This comes just days after someone fired at a Dowagiac School bus with a pellet gun.  "That's three separate vehicles hit by pellet guns within a half hour," according to ABC 57.
