It was one year ago today I first cracked the mic in the KFR studio as the new Midday host on 103.3 WKFR. From the moment I arrived in this city, I instantly felt as if I was home. Considering I've never moved away from home in Rochester Hills, I was shocked how natural everything felt. Kalamazoo and the listeners of KFR have been a huge influence on my positive outlook on life since making the move.

I've had a few downs but many, many ups since being here. I lost some weight, had to have my gallbladder removed, made a bunch of new friends, got through the flood, discovered new places to go on nature walks, experienced my first ever Ribfest, and have been able to express myself everyday. You can't understand how important that is to me.

The entire reason I got into radio was because my entire life, all I've wanted to do was entertain people and make them happy. The feedback I've received has been tremendous and so uplifting, and I have all of you to thank for that. Thank you for accepting me here in Kalamazoo and making me feel like I belong here. Here are some pictures from my first year in Kalamazoo. I hope you enjoy them and another year of my silliness.
