Former Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks enforcer Bob Probert is the subject of a new documentary set to be released next month. 

According to hockeyfeed dot com, the new documentary called, "Tough Guy: The Bob Probert Story" will be released next month in Canada.  It is expected to be released in the U.S. in 2019.  His wife produced the new film.

The film takes a look as his career as one of the great enforcers to ever play the game of hockey.   He was not afraid to go at it with any player and is one of the all time leaders in penalty minutes in NHL history.

The film has interviews with some of his former teammates like Steve Yzerman, Chris Chelios, Jeremy Roenick and Joe Kocur.   As well as with those players he battled with during his career like Tie Domi, Marty McSorley, Stu Grimson and many others.

Sadly Bob passed away at the age of 45 in 2010 and was working on an autobiography.  With the new film his story will be there for his fans and fans of the game to see.  Check out the recently released trailer for the new documentary.
