‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ Standee Reveals Colin Firth Wearing a Snazzy New Outfit
When the first trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle revealed that Colin Firth’s Harry Hart would be back from the dead in the upcoming sequel, it was great news, but not necessarily a surprise. Hart’s return had been hinted at for some time, and it really wouldn’t be a Kingsman movie without his particular debonair style. But exactly how he’ll return has remained a mystery, made all the more strange by the shot in the trailers in which his return is revealed: He seems to be behind glass, perhaps imprisoned, unaware that Eggsy and Merlin are looking at him.
A new standee for the movie that’s been popping up in theaters ahead of its release might give us a clue. We know that The Golden Circle will introduce to us the lasso- and shotgun-toting Statesmen, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, and Pedro Pascal’s American version of the Kingsmen, all clad in big silver belt buckles and Stetson hats. In the new standee poster, Harry Hart looks like he’s dressed similarly to the American mercenaries in a red shearling jacket and cowboy hat:
Does this mean he was found by the Statesmen and kept hidden until Eggsy and Merlin found him? Is Harry Hart a Statesman now? Has he lost his memory?
Obviously, we won‘t know any of these answers until Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in theaters September 22.
