Jake Simmons & the Little Ghosts have been a staple of the Kalamazoo music scene with their take on the Soul Punk/ Americana genre, that delivers somethings special and unique. The tone, ferocity, and passion behind their live shows is what has made this band a must see all around Kalamazoo, including earlier this year when they played Ribfest.

Their music has been described as "blue-collar Springsteen and Stone Cold Steve Austin as it is Hold Steady-esque self-awareness with indie sensibilities. They play guitar music, fast and loud, without leaning toward irony or fashion. Always brash, always honest, usually with a middle finger to convention."

Founded in 2010, JSATLG have played all over the Midwest and are now getting ready for their Official Record Release Party for the upcoming album, "Shake So Easy." The album and show will be at Bell's Eccentric Cafe on Friday, November 2nd. Doors are at 8:00 P.M and the show starts at 9:00 PM with special guests, The Mushmen & Sexy Toxins. The show is 21+ with valid ID and costs just $5. Come out and support awesome local music!
