Actor Keanu Reeves and his band Dogstar are going to be coming to Southwest Michigan and Detroit, touring their new album.

This isn’t the first time that Keanu Reeves and his band have been in Michigan, as their last tour supported their new album titled "Somewhere Between the Powerlines and Palm Trees, " which was dropped back in October 2023.

This time around, Reeves, along with Robert Millhouse and Bret Damrose, will be making a stop at the Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds in New Buffalo, Michigan, on August 28, nearly a week after they play Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit on August 22.

A recent post on Facebook shared the news about the tour and the album they are supporting:

Dogstar, the band featuring Movie star and all-around good guy Keanu Reeves, recently announced a brand new tour. The band will make a stop locally, playing the Hershey Theatre on August 18th. The new record "Allin Now" hits Shelves on May 29th.

Although many people are excited for the chance to see a Hollywood actor in person, one concertgoer was very critical of their Meet & Greet experience in the comment section:

Whatever you do, do not waste your money ($346.00) on the VIP meet-and-greet. What it says is not what you get. It's sold as a soundcheck, q&a, single photo, and one personal item signed. What you get is two songs, only the lead singer does q&a, you get a horrible pre-signed item, and a group photo. Also, they are behind a barrier and we had no interaction with them. I do a lot of VIP meet-and-greets, and this was the highest and worst.
