Hopcat’s Anniversary Means All You Can Eat Cosmik Fry Contest

It's that special time of the year again where Hopcat celebrates 12 years of being in business, which means free Cosmik Fries for us. This Friday at Hopcat, including Kalamazoo, everyone can enjoy the free fries known for their cracked pepper seasoning at various locations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m on Saturday January 25th. Of course, the celebration wouldn't be complete without including a fry eating contest at 3 p.m. and the rare craft beer taps that each location will be serving up.

The fry eating competition is no joke either. First Place gets $500, second place gets $100, and third place gets $25. Either way, you win with free fries. Director of marketing, Joe Sonheim expressed his excitement for another anniversary to MLive: "This 12-year milestone is a testament to our HopCat mission. Our passion for serving great food and beer to our loyal guests has only grown stronger since day one. We are excited to celebrate this milestone with the guests who made these 12 years possible."
