Hootie and Barenaked Ladies Will Play in Michigan in 2019

Soccer moms rejoice!  A tour featuring a reunion of Hootie and the Blowfish along with Barenaked Ladies.is stopping in the Detroit area and Chicago next summer.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 7th for the Detroit date on August 16th, at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston. Pre-sale is going on now.

The tour will stop in Chicago the following week, on August 24 at the Hollywood Casino Ampitheatre, in Tinley Park. Those tickets go on sale also on Friday morning, December 7th.

The tour marks the 25th anniversary of the "Cracked Rear View", Hootie and the Blowfish's debut album has sold 21 million copies, one of the best selling albums of all time. The album included the hits songs "Let Her Cry", "Hold My Hand" and "Time".

Barenaked Ladies had a chart topping hit with "One Week" in 1998, but are more famous for recording the theme song the hit TV show, Big Bang Theory.
