Holy Crap We Were On The News Last Night – Habi Hour Mardi Party

Heather McGregor and I dressed up and helped raise money for Habitat for Humanity at their Mardi Gras party last night in Kalamazoo.

News Channel 3 was there capturing footage of this special night and the cameraman caught us taking a photo in front of the green screen.

The purpose of the party was to raise funds to build or improve homes for low-income families.  There was Mardi Gras-inspired music, New Orleans-styled hors d'oeuvres and a fun photo booth, and a live auction.

We were blown away by the generosity of everyone who donated to help families right here in Kalamazoo.
