If you've been to downtown Kalamazoo recently, you may have noticed that you're not alone. Skeletons have popped up to celebrate the spooky season as part of the second annual Skeletour, where life-sized skeletons are dressed up to reflect the various businesses and organizations that make this city so unique. And part of the festivities for Wednesday, October 7th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, you can get a scary hair style compliments of Blush Salon + Spa. Spiders, cobwebs, and bats (oh, my!) will be the accessory du jour, for sure.

In compliance with social distancing, the talented team at Blush Salon + Spa will be holding 15-minute scary hair appointments outside, and you will need to reserve a time slot by clicking here. Once your tresses are dressed for the macabre occasion, you can continue on the Skeletour and see your favorite Kalamazoo businesses strutting their skeletonized stuff. Don't forget to take selfies with the skeletons (or "skelfies") and tag @downtownkalamazoo with the hashtag #skelfiekzoo to share your hair and the fun (and you could win $50, too!).

The 2020 Skeletour will last the entire month of October, and there are plenty of activities for individuals and families to get involved in, like a Mega Puzzle, a viewing of Hotel Transylvania, and chances to win cold hard cash AND Downtown Dollars. Trick or Treating might be cancelled for this year, but you and the kids can still get your Halloween fix in downtown Kalamazoo.
