Not all things were ruined by the pandemic this year. The Halloween spirit is still strong in Kalamazoo as we continue to do everything we can to try and make sure we can still celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. The Downtown Kalamazoo Skele-tour will kick off tomorrow as the month long celebration of all things spooky comes to life. Residents are invited to join in on the outdoor fun and check out the downtown streets which will be scattered with skeletons representing great local businesses.

There will be creepy, funny, silly, and wild skeletons filling the streets to prepare for all the fun events planned for the upcoming month listed on their event page, including:
*SkeleTour festivities with a performance by The Skeletones on Friday, October 2 on the Kalamazoo Mall
*Puzzle Trip! Kids (and adults), a Mega Puzzle Grid on their websiteas you travel downtown finding the clues to reveal the grid picture. Social media will be providing hints on where you can find the clues in downtown Kalamazoo.
*On Saturday, October 17, enjoy a Halloween favorite, "Hotel Transylvania" outside at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place. Advance registration required - limited to 950 people for this exclusive outdoor experience.
*Take a skelfie with the skeletons and you can enter to win up to $50 in Downtown Dollars each week in October. Use #skelfiekzoo and tag @downtownkalamazoo for the chance to win. The more selfies you submit, the more chances to win.
*SkeleTour Bar Crawl Passport, sponsored by Discover Kalamazoo, with a chance to win Downtown Dollars. The new digital passport makes supporting local bars and restaurants easy, fun, and safe.
