Eddie Van Halen Dead At 65; Kalamazoo Reacts

Breaking news being reported by TMZ that legendary Rock N' Roll Guitarist Eddie Van Halen has passed away from Cancer complications at the age of 65. This story is ongoing and we will continue to update this story as it develops. In a quote from the site, they claim:

Sources directly connected to the rock star tell us ... he died at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica Tuesday. His wife, Janie, was by his side, along with his son, Wolfgang, and Alex, Eddie's brother and drummer.

We're told in the last 72 hours Eddie's ongoing health battle went massively downhill -- doctors discovered his throat cancer had moved to his brain as well as other organs.

Eddie Van Halen and the band made many stops in Kalamazoo over the years, along with many shows at Wings Event Center. Kalamazoo has already begun reacting to the legendary guitarists' passing:
