Michigan’s Dave Coulier Starring In Travel Channel’s Worst Cooks

Growing up we all remember Dave Coulier as Uncle Joey from Full House. His signature impressions and catch phrases were a staple to 90's pop culture. But this St. Clair Shores, MI native is more than just an experienced actor, he's also a terrible cook. Well, maybe terrible isn't the nicest way of putting it. Let's just say he's not as good as he thought he was.

This was discovered when he was approached about being on the 19th season of Food Network's Worst Cooks In America: Celebrity Edition. Coulier seems like a pretty humble guy. I actually met him briefly some years back at a charity softball game and seemed to have no problem taking the brunt of a joke. But this experience is unlike anything he's been a part of, as the season aires this Sunday, May 10th on Food Network and Hulu.

Coulier recently spoke to MLive and admitted his cooking confidence was put on check once he was around real chefs, saying:

I thought I was pretty good going into this show. I’m a barbecue guy. I throw stuff on the barbecue and think, those ribs are great, aren’t they? I realized when I got there that I didn’t have knowledge of really anything. I didn’t even know how to hold the knives properly. And if you didn’t, Tyler and Anne would come by and mark your hand with red magic marker. That was just the beginning, learning how to chop, dice and slice and how to prepare food.

Other celebrities joining Coulier on the show will be Wells Adams, Johnny Bananas, Bridget Everett, Robin Givens, Sonja Morgan and Brian Posehn.
