April Anderson is the co-owner of Good Cakes and Bakes, a bakery located in Detroit's Avenue of the Fashion commercial corridor. Recently she received an online order from a customer who wanted her to put an anti-gay message on the cake. The invoice read:
I am ordering this cake to celebrate and have PRIDE in true Christian marriage. I’d like you to write on the cake, in icing, 'Homosexual acts are gravely evil.' (Catholic Catechism 2357)."

Despite thinking that the order may have been a set up to push an agenda, Anderson made the cake anyway and left a note saying, "God is Love and Love is God." David Gordon, the man who ordered the cake, says he is a Christian Catholic and says he was denied services based off of his beliefs. In regards to his order he had this to say:

Blah blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah blah Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah wHaT iF a gAy cOuPlE gOt a StRaIgHt cAkE aT tHeIr WeDdInG?"

STOP GIVING TERRIBLE PEOPLE A VOICE. Seriously. Why is it every time a person goes out of their way to be nasty to someone just trying to live their life peacefully, we give the person being nasty a platform to defend themselves? Instead of focusing on the, yet again, injustice towards an LGBTQ POC. Nah bro, you made your little point by being a miserable, hateful person. We got you. Take a seat.

If you REALLY wanna see his lame explanation you can read it here.
