Cookies Dispensary Opening On Portage St. In Kalamazoo

This past weekend I was taking a drive around Kalamazoo when I passed a very blue building on my left on Portage street with a big blue sign that said "Cookies" on it. I immediately got excited because I thought there was some kind of gourmet cookie shop about to open. I ended up turning around so I could snag a few pictures. Upon further inspection I came to realize it wasn't a cookie shop at all, it was another dispensary on the verge of opening.

Located at 2712 Portage St, Cookies is a dispensary that actually got it's start in California and they specialize in different strands that are unique to their brand, as their website describes:

Currently there is one Cookies location in Detroit, however no date has been given for the opening of the location here in Kalamazoo.

Now if you're like me, I personally fully approve the safe and controlled use of cbd & thc for people who don't wanna use pills for their ailments. So I have no issue with another dispensary opening, but I'll be honest I was a little bummed we aren't getting a new cookie shop. At least we still have Insomnia Cookies.
