Contaminated Water In Kalamazoo

There has been an advisory issued for possible drinking water contamination

According to mlive, there has been a water main break so residents are urged to boil water before drinking.  The boil water advisory was issued on Sunday, August 21st.

When a break occurs in a water main, or a complete loss of pressure in a significant part of the water system, there is the possibility for contaminants to enter into the water main while the repair is being completed.  Once an advisory or notice has been lifted, residents should flush out all plumbing lines and fixtures with running water and replace all water filters. - mlive
