Because Battle Creek Knows Construction Season is Year 'Round

Darrell the Barrel is the "rad new supervisor" of a Battle Creek construction project that may last until trick or treat time.

A water main maintenance project in the neighborhoods just West of Bronson Battle Creek hospital brought out the funny in an anonymous neighbor. Someone put a Halloween costume on a construction barrel near the intersection of Walter and Buckeye streets. The City of Battle Creek says, "Our crew got a huge kick out of this, and we hope you do, too!"

Maybe not as funny as the recent project with a left turn arrow and a "no left turn" sign, decorating a road construction barrel is so Michigan because we get used to seeing them lined up for so long.
