Chicago Subways Saw Many Without Pants On This Weekend
For the fun of it, many forget to wear pants this weekend while riding the subway
If you were in Chicago over the weekend, you might have seen riders on the subway without pants...No Joke! On Sunday, January 12th, the tradition of riding the subway without pants continued!
It all started back in 2002 when an improv group in New York City thought it would be funny if they "forgot" their pants and hopped on the train. Since then, it has become a silly event that people take part in all over the country. Here is how it started and what is expected...
The No Pants Subway Ride is an annual event founded by Improv Everywhere in New York City. Each January, a group of riders remove their pants and board a train. Pantless riders are instructed to act normal and enjoy looks of surprise and confusion that they receive from fellow riders.
It's a fun way to fight away the winter blues, but you are advised if you participate to make sure you are wearing a new set of undies!
