Keeping it Cheap on Valentine’s Day in Kalamazoo

Harvey's on the Mall hosts a free open mic comedy kicking off at 9pm. If that wasn't enough to get you in the door, it's $3 you-call-it drink specials and food specials from 9-11pm. No cover. No drink minimum. Spend Valentine's Day in stitches with your Mrs.

From 8am-2pm stroll around the Kalamazoo Expo Center and see what treasures are in store. Choose from new and used items, antiques, handcrafted items - you might just find the perfect gift and surprise that special someone. Admission is free. And so is window shopping.

Just five bucks (or less) gets you in to see works from the KIA collection; the circle in myriad manifestations. According the KIA:

Challenge yourself on The Bluebird or take a leisurely stroll hand-in-hand on the Prairie Pathway. Either way, the Kalamazoo Nature Center has a trail that's fit for every couple. $7 gets you in from 9am-5pm. Bundle up and get out in nature with your main squeeze.
