A Cincinnati animal shelter threw a 19th birthday party for this cat, and it was fabulous.

There are many reasons why a senior cat might end up in an animal shelter.  Unfortunately, no matter how nice that shelter is and how incredibly caring the people are that work here.  A shelter is no place for an animal to have a happy, peaceful life.  Especially, when you're a cat turning 19-years-old.

That's why Cincinnati Animal Care shared photos and a video of the staff at Kitty City throwing this lovable senior feline a birthday party.  Sammy was treated like a king.  The hard working staff and volunteers at the animal shelter are hoping that this attention will help him find a fur-ever home according to a recent facebook post on the Cincinnati Animal Care facebook,

Happy birthday to this beautiful fella who would love a nice, quiet home to live out his golden years! The only rule for adopting Sammy though? You have to throw him a 20th birthday party on 6/15/22!

The videos of Sammy they posted on TikTok have been viewed more than 250,000 times.
