Attention All Criminals! Stop Criming!

I don't know why this reminds of this story, but I knew a radio guy who early in his career, worked in Terre Haute, Indiana. The station was run by a little old widow, and during a really bad thunderstorm one day, she walked into the studio and told him to tell listeners the station was off the air.

Now the reason he was fired wasn't that he wouldn't do it, but that he asked if she was crazy. Not a good move. But a funny story none the less.
