Two Main Characters on this Sitcom Are From Kalamazoo

The new CBS sitcom 'The Neighborhood' brings up Kalamazoo a lot.  I hope it lasts longer than Battle Creek.

The Neighborhood stars Cedric the Entertainer as Calvin Butler.  He's a man proud of his successful black neighborhood.  In moves the whitest of white families from Kalamazoo, the Johnsons.  Dave Johnson is played by Max Greenfield.  You might remember him from the sitcom 'New Girl.'  Gemma Johnson is played by Beth Berhs from 'Two Broke Girls."
