We had a photo of a car sitting on it's side, leaning against a utility post in Parchment a couple of months ago. That was impressive, in it's own way.  But then, there was a Michigan State Police traffic stop, or specifically, truck fleeing a traffic stop in Barry County Thursday night.

Here's the Michigan State Police's description of what happened.

On January 16th, 2020, at approximately 10:00 PM, a pickup truck fled from a traffic stop initiated by a Trooper from the Michigan State Police Wayland Post near Delton Road on M-43 Highway in Barry Township, Barry County.

In the early morning hours on January 17th, 2020, units from the Michigan State Police Wayland Post and Barry County Sheriff’s Officer responded to reports of a pickup truck on the roof of a residence on Oak Drive in Barry Township. The pickup truck was identified as the vehicle that, earlier, fled from the Trooper. The incident remains under investigation.
