Look...I have to be honest about something. When it comes to adorable Halloween costumes, your kids are ADORABLE....but animals always win in my book. Don't hate me!

I'm always impressed with people who can get their animals to wear costumes. I tried to get a harness on my cat once. ONCE. I definitely have some battle scars from that adventure. But, if you're one of the chosen ones, you can show off that adorable pet at the SPCA of SW Michigan's Dog O' Ween!

They're hosting their family friendly event on October 24th from 11am to 3pm. They're hosting the event outside, weather permitting, to make sure everyone can continue to social distance. There'll be an agility course, free of charge, and you can enter your pup in the Costume Contest or Peanut Butter Licking contest for just $3 each. The SPCA is also promising a Haunted Trail.

Of course, all funds raised are going right back to the animals so the SPCA of SW Michigan can help their housed dogs and cats their forever homes. If you'd like more information on how to become a vendor or a sponsor just click here.

And behalf of everyone who are the owners to uncooperative animals who will never allow us to dress them in any way - show off those cute costumes! We need some joy in 2020.
