Summer Fun Takes a Hit in Kalamazoo; Formula K, Putters Closing

There's going to be a lot of sad kids and parents, not to mention singles and others, in the Kalamazoo area when they hear this news. Formula K Family Fun Park in Mattawan and Putters Family Fun Center in Portage both announced their closings on Wednesday.

Formula K made the announcement on their Facebook page earlier today. Formula K began in 1975 in Mattawan. They separated the amusement and go-kart businesses along with a lawn and snow equipment, in 2005.

Later on Wednesday, Putters made a similar announcement on their Facebook page, saying they would not be re-opening this Spring.
