Pizza Katerina was recently saved by one of it's most faithful customers, after purchasing the entire name, recipe and equipment from the previous owner. Since that time, Melodie Holman and her husband Jimmy have been working hard to restructure the company in a way that will help them thrive, while also keeping the same ingredients to their pizza which was enjoyed by regular. But they've also added a new twist which the community will get a glimpse of this weekend.

On Saturday January 30th, they'll be hosting somewhat of a soft open taking orders for their special Pizza Poll Drive Thru. They'll be offering a slice of each of their signature Spicy, Thai, and Pesto pizzas as well as a focaccia stick and homemade marinara for $5. they're asking people to pre-order through their website, and when arriving to enter through the north entrance (near the car wash) then turn right to line up for orders. They will however be taking drive up orders that can be paid with card or cash.

Their new pizza flavors include the Thai Pizza, made with peanut sauce, red onion, red pepper, Shaved carrots, pineapple, cilantro and sweet, & red curry sauce, the Spicy Pizza, made with Marinara, fresh jalapeño slices,
green jalapeno stuffed olives, white onion and red pepper flakes, and the Pesto Pizza, made with pesto, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, goat cheese and fresh basil when it is available. They're located at 635 North 9th Street Suite E Kalamazoo.
