Piano keyboards have popped up at three intersections in and around downtown Kalamazoo, promoting the Gilmore Keyboard Festival.

If you're driving, you may miss them unless you're looking for them, but workers "installed" piano keyboards over crosswalks, at Michigan and Rose St., at Westnedge and Vine, and at Park and South St.

The keyboards are to promote The Gilmore Keyboard Festival, which begins April 26th and goes the middle of May.

The best known of the scheduled performers would music legend Tony Bennett, and Bruce Hornsby and the Range, who had the number one hit, "The Way It Is" in the late 1980's.

But with keyboard intersections now, how cool would it be to see a Flash Mob pop up and do the giant keyboard scene from Tom Hanks' movie, "Big".
