People are Already Camped Outside of Chick-fil-A in Lansing [Video]
The first two Chick-fil-A's in Michigan are opening tomorrow, Thursday, October 13, and people are already waiting in line in Lansing!
FOX 47 reports that people started lining up at 6 a.m. to ensure their spot in line. Also, they're trying to get free Chick-fil-A. As a celebration of their grand opening, Chick-fil-A is offering the first 100 people free chicken sandwiches for an entire year! Can you blame them for waiting in line?! I'd be out there too!
The restaurant features a double drive-thru and play area for the kids. Over 100 people were hired to work at this location.
This Chick-fil-A is the first stand-alone location in Michigan. The Troy location, which also opens tomorrow, is located at the food court inside the Somerset Mall. And yes, people are lined up for that one as well.
The West Michigan location (Kentwood) is the next one slated to be open in Michigan, which broke ground in August, but there is no word on the exact grand opening date yet. By 2021, there will be about 15-20 restaurants around the state.
