Papa Murphy’s On Oakland In Portage Has Closed

Another one bites the dust as another Papa Murphy's location is found empty in Southwest Michigan.

Sunday we reported the loss of Fannie May on Westnedge (the last one in Michigan) and Olga's Kitchen in the Crossroads Mall.  It looks like we missed a Portage restaurant that closed a few months before that.

The Papa Murphy's on the corner of Oakland and Centre in Portage is now empty with this sign in the window:

Since the Papa Murphy's on West Main closed early this year, the closest location to Kalamazoo and Portage is now on M-98 in Plainwell.

This maybe nothing new for the pizza chain as QSR magazine points out that Papa Murphy's closed 97 restaurants in 2018.

As far as we can tell there are just ten Papa Murphy's restaurants left in the state of Michigan.
