Someone over the weekend broke into the KFR Studio and painted our walls yellow. Not yellow, but YELLOW!!!! The pictures posted here does not do it justice.

There are nice shades of yellow. Muted yellows. This ain't that. Let me give you a peek and then, some similar yellows.

I walked in this afternoon and was stunned. I grabbed a co worker, and he immediately started singing "we all live in a yellow submarine." Looking at the bright side, I said to another co-worker, "maybe it's primer". I asked my boss if this qualified as a human rights violation. He laughed.

That's the walls now. It looks like Magic's uniform in his hey-day with the Lakers.

The L. A. Kings had a similar color scheme to the Lakers, but more purple. Dana Marshall would've like these.

Ok, here we go. This is closer to the new color of the walls. The 1970's uni's of the Oakland A's. The easy joke here is the 70's called and want their color back.

Now, I have be honest here. When I was in high school, I painted my bed room this color. My parents were nice enough to not repaint until I moved out.

So maybe having to look at these walls everyday is payback for my painting sin of the 1970's.

But rest assured, there are canaries all over Kalamazoo feeling betrayed.
