Michigan Secretary of State Computers Shut Down

A computer problem has shut down Michigan's ability to renew driver's licenses.

And the problem run deep because not only can you not renew your license at the Secretary of State but you also can not renew it on line. No word on what someone should do if they need to renew their license.

The Good new is the Secretary of State is offering an alternative way for renewing license plate tabs and watercraft registration online.

The Detroit Free Press is reporting...

"The office tweeted at 9:03 a.m. that "an issue with the SOS computer system" had caused the problem, and there's no estimate for when services will be restored."

No one wants to be pulled over, but it is even worse when you do not have the correct documents. Lets hope they get this fixed soon!
