The Super Bowl has always been one of my favorite days of the year. A day where can gather to drink beers, eat snacks, watch the biggest game of the year, enjoy commercials one day out of the year and most importantly... watch puppies.

Yes, in its 14th year the Puppy Bowl brought to us by Animal Planet is returning and this year a Michigan puppy has made the team. Luna, a Miniature Pinscher, will be setting her sights on that MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) Award as her and 90 adoptable puppies from over 48 different shelters from across the nation go head to head.

Luna is the representative from the Blue Water Area Humane Society and is the first pup to represent Michigan since Puppy Bowl XII when a German Shepard pup from Pontiac was chosen.

This year will be the 4th installment of "Team Ruff VS. Team Fluff." Luna will be looking to upset Team Ruff, as they have been the victors every year since its inception. As stated through Blue Water Area's Facebook post, "The cutest competition in sports history airs Sunday, February 4th at 3:00 pm ET/12: 00 pm PT on Animal Planet."

I know I'll be watching and rooting for Team Fluff to break the winning streak and see if this tiny pup can take the MVP and help lead her team to victory. Go Puppies!
