The MI Shot to Win Sweepstakes second round of winners was announced on Wednesday morning. The ongoing sweepstakes has winners daily with bigger drawings spread out throughout the month of July.

Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist was joined by comedian and Michigan Native Tim Meadows to announce the winners on Wednesday morning.

Meadows is best known for his roles in Mean Girls, The Ladies Man, and on SNL.

A Grand Blanc woman won the $1 million prize in the MI Shot To Win sweepstakes. The two winners of the $50,000 prizes announced Wednesday are from Sterling Heights and from Rockford.

More than two million Michiganders have reportedly entered the sweepstakes, along with more than 90,000 entered for the scholarship drawing. The Sweepstakes will continue throughout the remainder of the month.
