The centerpiece of the project is a 7,300 sq. ft expansion of community services building, that will combine the parking lot entrance and the tennis house entrance into one. MLive also reports the expansion will add a "multi-purpose room, a facility for youth and infants, an elevator, kitchenette, storage spaces and offices." An increase in use would bring approximately a dozen more jobs.

According to sources, over half the funding to pay for project has already been raised, with a capital campaign underway now to raise another $1.5 million.

The goal is to offer more programs, with the expansion allowing the space to do that.

The project gets underway around December 1st and should be complete in the late spring..
