Kalamazoo Welcomes A New Twist On Pizza With Pizzawalas
There's a brand new pizza place in Kalamazoo, which is take-out only, that adds a different flavor to the pizza scene here in the city, combining Indiana food inspiration with a classic Italian staple.
Pizzawalas is a place unique to Southwest Michigan, and it's the newest location opened by the franchise, with the other locations being in cities like Canton, MI, and Las Vegas, NV. There's another location also opening soon in East Lansing.
What Is Pizzawalas?
Long before fusion pizza became trendy, we were crafting recipes like our now-popular Butter Chicken Pizza, blending authentic spices, rich sauces, and fresh dough to create something totally new. We blend classic American favorites with bold fusion flavors, plus all the traditional pizzas you already love, along with our fusion wings, breads and much more!
Even though the small chain originated in Canton, the owner, Gurwinder Singh, was born and raised in Kalamazoo and is excited to bring his creation home, as he explained all the future details:
We’re big on fresh ingredients, big flavors, and supporting our local community. We can’t wait to serve you and hear what you think! We’re currently wrapping up construction and will have a soft launch date soon. Location is right next to the Munchie Mart on WMU campus!
Since the post on the Kalamazoo Menu Facebook page, the restaurant has opened, as they hope to continue to expand to other cities and states, and are always looking for people interested in purchasing a store and franchising their own location.
