I always like a good comeback story, especially when it involves a locally owned business that is forced to close its doors, finding a way to get them re-opened. The Samuel Mancino's Pizza & Grinders shop that's on Gull Rd. in Kalamazoo is finally re-opened with a new owner and staff, after closing down last year, which had people worried they were done for good:

I ate there all the time when I worked at the big State Farm office. I love their Italian Wedding soup, and their sandwiches and pasta are really good too. I can't explain it but they tasted different. Gull rd gave me that extra mmmm every time.

New Number Who Dis?

The new owner has been giving updates leading up to the Grand Re-opening, including that they've got a new phone number which they hope to be changing on Google soon:

We want to give a huge shout-out to everyone that stopped in today to dine in or carry out. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout for our first day! We look forward to serving you for many years to come! THANK YOU SO MUCH! We have a new phone number. Google is not allowing us to change it at the moment, please share and spread the word that our phone number is new. We want to hear our phones start ringing from you! Call in and carry out, or dine in. 269-350-5967
