Michigan Head Coach Expected To Serve 2-Game Suspension
Over the last couple of years there have been tons of rumors, speculations, and investigations into the University of Michigan Football program. There have been rumblings and concerns of members of the staff using illegal tactics to gain unfair advantages on their opponents. Many opposing fans have called for disciplinary action but as of now, nothing has been done.

We did learn that there was staff member from Michigan's football team that purchased tickets for friends and family to go to opposing teams' games and do some research. There was also documentation and footage of this same staff member being at opposing teams' games and gathering intel.
In response, Michigan parted ways with the staff member and things started to die down even though the Wolverines continued to have success. Through all this commotion, the Wolverines would go on to win the National Championship with a perfect 15-0 record before watching their head coach, Jim Harbaugh accept an NFL coaching job with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Upon leaving, Harbaugh would leave the keys to the Wolverines in the hands of former offensive line coach/offensive coordinator, Sherrone Moore, someone he trusted and praised often. In his first year, Moore struggled to find the things that would work under his tenure but was still able to take down their bitter rivals to the south, the Ohio State Buckeyes and would defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Reliaquest Bowl.
Even during his first year of coaching there was still tons of rumors, rumblings, concerns, and calls for action from many fanbases about the conduct the Wolverines had shown over the last couple of years. Nothing has been said for certain, but it looks as if those calling for consequences may finally be getting what they want.
2-Game Suspension Coming For Michigan Head Coach
Unfortunately, those individuals may still be disappointed because this ruling isn't coming down from the NCAA but instead is from the University of Michigan. As a part of self-imposed sanctions, Michigan is expected to suspend head coach Sherrone Moore for 2 games in the upcoming 2025 season.
The suspension will be served during weeks 3 and 4 when the Wolverines will take on Central Michigan and Nebraska as Moore will be barred from any team related activities during this time. They have chosen to impose the suspension during those weeks to allow Moore to coach against his alma mater, Oklahoma in week 2.
The NCAA may add on to these sanctions as there is a decision expected to be made from their end by the beginning of the season. Moore is accused of committing a level 2 violation after he was caught deleting 52 text messages between himself and Connor Stalions, who was found to be leading the effort to capture the play-calling signals of future opponents.
