Snow Removal: It’s a Morning Ritual in Kalamazoo
I don't know when Michigan became North Dakota.
I shouldn't be surprised at the amount of snow in my driveway every morning. But somehow, when I open my garage every morning, I am shocked.
What used to be a sidewalk that connects my driveway to my front door is becoming a tunnel.
Now, the morning ritual is as follows: Wake up 20 minutes early, shower, shovel, eat, drive slowly through a winter wonderland (as seen in the third picture taken on Sprinkle Road in Kalamazoo) only to get stuck as I turn on to Jennings Drive in Kalamazoo just 45 seconds from the KFR parking lot.
