Coldwater will become a hot spot for Summer fun as the city has approved a new outdoor recreation facility including a beach and inflatable obstacle course.

It used to be a gravel pit, now it will be known as The Aqua Pit. WTVB reports the City of Coldwater has approved a $237,000 expenditure to build an inflatable aquatics playground, beach and outdoor recreational facility on South Michigan Avenue in Coldwater Township.

Entrepreneur Seth Berry says, "the Aqua Pit would feature inflatables that are structured similar to an obstacle course, jungle gym, and playground." In addition to the inflatable in-water playground, he intends on turning the lake into beach.

You'll have to wait until Spring of 2020 to get in on the fun in Coldwater, meantime you can take a look at a drone flyover of a similar facility in Holly, Michigan.
