In The Ruff Golf Outing

Good thing we weren't playing for keeps...

The annual "In The Ruff" golf outing supports the SPCA of SW Michigan. This year's outing was held at the beautiful Thornapple Creek Golf Club in Kalamazoo.

I'm pretty good at putt putt, but I learned that I'm not good at golf.

I played softball for most of my life, and I couldn't break those habits even after my boss, Kate Conley, was giving me pointers.

Two different groups of golfers had to pass ours, because we were slowing everyone down. At one point, the guy who was trying to keep things moving, basically asked us to leave by saying we should go hit off some tees...off the course.

It was a good learning experience and surprisingly, I can't wait to try again!
