This will be the first time I have been able to really get to appreciate the Holiday season in Kalamazoo and I wanna make the most of it. I did some searching on michiganlife.com and found a great list of fun holiday events in and around Kalamazoo this season that you can partake in.

Light Up The Bluff // December 7th 6 p.m.- Corner of Broad and Lake Boulevard, St Joseph Michigan.

Over 1 million lights come alive along Lake Bluff Park as it is transformed into a winter wonderland from first Friday in December through Valentine’s Day. Grab your sweetheart or entire family and take a stroll through the Park under arches of sparkling lights from December – February. Fun for the entire family!

Mistletoe Market // December 7th- South Haven Center For The Arts.

The Mistletoe Market Christmas Boutique is an annual fundraiser featuring Holiday Fine Art & Crafts held by the South Haven Center for the Arts. Local artists display their jewelry, paintings, photography & more. This is an excellent way to begin your holiday shopping! A portion will benefit the art Center.

Walk Of Trees // Nov. 24th - Dec. 25th- Kellogg Park Downtown Plymouth

Bundle up the family and come stroll through the Kellogg Park Walk of Trees. See 75 trees, each decorated by a local family, club or business.

It’s free, it’s fun and it’s healthy! Trees are lit 24 hours from the Saturday after Thanksgiving through Christmas. Where: . Make it a new family tradition.

Echo Valley Winter Sports Park // December 15th - February 2019-  Echo Valley 8495 East H Ave, Kalamazoo

 

Echo Valley Kalamazoo's Premier Winter Sports Park where you race 60 mph down one of eight ¼ mile long tracks on ultra-fast toboggans. Enjoy the 500-foot tubing hill. The warming lodge offers a fireplace, snack bar and viewing platform. Tubes and toboggans are free with admission. Ice skate rentals are available. Open mid-December through February. Groups welcome.
