Harry Styles Stops Concert To Help Fan Struggling With Panic Attack
Sweet Creature, indeed — Harry Styles stopped a show Sunday night (October 29) just to help a fan who was struggling with a panic attack.
Styles, who'd just begun the United Kingdom leg of his solo world tour at the Eventim Apollo, was digging into "Just a little Bit of Your Heart," the song he wrote for Ariana Grande, when he noticed a fan struggling.
"Is everyone OK? You still with me? Do you want to help her up? If everyone could give her some space. If everyone could chill for one second, we'll get some people," he said as security helped the girl recover.
And she, named Annie, tweeted about how sweetly Styles responded.
"Harry Styles stopped his entire show because I got crushed and then watched me being pulled over the barrier ... That was one of the most horrendous panic attack's I've ever had like even the medics were terrified of the state I was in ... Harry is so f***ing pure I can't believe it ... I was literally in the worst state that all I remember was Harry looking at me (sic)"
"He is [the sweetest], I’m so grateful I got out though or it could have been so much worse," she added.
And it's not the first time Styles has lent a hand to a fan suffering from anxiety — in 2014, Styles noticed a fan struggling with a panic attack at a book signing and swooped in to help comfort her. "He's exceeded all expectations, words cannot describe how genuine, kind, loving and caring that boy is," the fan, named Ruth, wrote.
