Get your glow on and help homeless kids in Kalamazoo

The Fifth Annual Ark in the Dark Firefly 5K is taking place this Saturday (August 17th) and the run is to help them end youth homelessness and human trafficking. Here is some information about the Ark and their mission...

  • The Ark provided almost 12,000 nights of shelter and housing to hundreds of youth last year.
  • These youth are often victims of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, human trafficking, exploitations, and other traumatic issues.
  • After receiving services…98% of youth exited to safe and stable housing! 93% of youth increased life skills; leading to self-sufficiency.
  • The Ark Shelter is the only shelter of its kind in SW MI – 9 counties served.

You can help the Ark by having a great Saturday night with them for only $25!
