Get Ready For Back To School With Bash In Kalamazoo

Get ready to start the new year with the Family Health Center!

The 10th annual Back to School Bash is 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9 at the Family Health Center’s Moses L. Walker Building located at 117 W. Paterson Street.

The event will include...

• Games
• Refreshments
• Free backpacks
• School supplies
• Hygiene kits
• Immunizations

There is one catch to the event, families must register their children for the event and show that each child’s vaccinations are up to date.

Childhood immunizations are a key part of back to school prep and successful learning. A student who doesn’t have all their immunizations may be kept out of school, which puts them behind academically. That’s why we’re doing our part to help families make sure their children are immunized.
