The Family Dollar In Mattawan Is Closing

I no longer wake up every morning in "The Twan," but it will always hold a special place in my heart. One of the main staples of the community over there is the Family Dollar store, located just north of I-94 off the Exit 66 Mattawan roundabout. That Family Dollar always did right by me, hooking it up with the cheap lawn decor and random summer needs throughout my time there.

Sadly, it seems like their time in Mattawan is drawing to a close. Times have apparently been hard for the store, ever since Dollar General opened up shop less than a half mile away, there has been direct competition. Signs were hung over the last few days that the store would be closing. As sad as it is for the community and for those who work there, you may want to head over there now and get some sick deals before they officially close.
