Dollar Tree Is Gonna Start Selling Booze in 1,000 Stores

Because there are clearly not enough other places to get terrible, cheap alcohol.

Forgive me, but I'm having a hard time understanding this one - Dollar Tree has announced that they will start selling alcohol at approximately 1,000 stores in the United States.

After the announcement of the closing of 400 Family Dollar stores, Dollar Tree has acquired about half of those locations. The company announced that they will also be selling more items for $1; they'll be called Dollar Tree Plus!.

Don't get me wrong, I love me a dollar store for party supplies and decorations. But BOOZE? Because there isn't already a party store on every corner in Michigan? Hit me up when they start selling marijuana and I'll be surprised.
