It was the most beautiful and unique wedding ever

While I was on my lengthy vacation (sorry Dana), I went to Hiram, Ohio to be a part of my best friend's wedding.  Julia and Tamas tied the knot on Saturday, September 24th at the Hungarian Cultural Center of northeastern Ohio.  Tamas' family are Hungarian and speak the language fluently.  They are some of the best people I've ever met.

In Hungarian tradition, the bride gets kidnapped by some of the groom’s party and then the groom has to barter, bribe, bargain or just prove himself a man to get her back.  The games the groom had to play to claim his wife back were HILARIOUS.  (See photos)

Tamas had to perform a dance with a ribbon baton.  He also had to ride on the back of one of his groomsmen while shooting at another, who was wearing a target, with a toy bow and arrow.  Once he completed the games, 5 people lined up on the dance floor with a sheet over their heads.  Tamas was then blindfolded and had to SMELL all 5 people to find Julia.  He guessed correctly and won her back :)
