We get all worked-up about this announcement every year, so here they are for 2014: The newest members of the National Toy Hall of Fame.

The votes were counted and the following are now in:

• Little Green Army Men
• The frustrating — but addictive — Rubik's Cube

According to the National Toy Hall of Fame's website, anyone can nominate a toy to the National Toy Hall of Fame. Final selections are made on the advice of historians, educators, and other individuals who exemplify learning, creativity, and discovery through their lives and careers.
